Terminal Manager
The Terminal Manager will oversee daily, monthly and future operations of the facility. Oversee the management of hourly, supervisor, and assistant manager teams. Ensure that all work is performed per company procedures, standards, and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities (Job duties include but are not limited to the following)
- Authorize onboarding and offboarding at the terminal
- Authorize and execute wage increases of employees at the terminal
- Communicate and submit payroll in a timely fashion
- Outline topics and documentation for safety meetings with HSE Department
- Enforce all safety expectations and all safety policies
- Review and communicate any changes to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Execute contractor orientations
- Oversee investigations and reporting of incidents
- Conduct coaching of employees and conflict resolution
- Manage bulk loading and unloading facility operations
- Hold one-to-one customer interactions outlining production and conveying any delays
- Any other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager
- College degree preferred
- 3-5 years in management experience
- Rail experience is preferred
- Hazmat experience is preferred
- Available on weekends as needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- LACT unit/Scada operations experience preferred
- Transferring of fluids to storage tank experience preferred
